I think creating and choosing right type of greeting card can be great way to enhancing your love and emotions. But have you ever though about the colors, how they speak about you. I had tried to put some of my ideas about different colors. Hope you find them worth.

Black: Black is considered as most powerful color as it reflects authority and power. Even some people associate it to submission fo example priests wear black reflecting complete devotion to god. And on the other hand in some places it is considered the color of evils.

White: White color is always related to purity, innocence and peace. It is considered very holy color and even it blends with all colors well.

Red: Red is the most emotionally intense color. It is said red color increases heart beat and known as color of love.

Blue: blue color is often related to sky and ocean. It symbolizes peace and tranquility. Some people relate blue color to loyalty.

Green: Green color is most popular color, it symbolizes nature and is easy on eyes. Green color is considered to be a refreshing color. It gives calmness and relaxation. Dark green is color of conservation and wealth.

Yellow: Yellow is marked as color of cheerfulness, it is a attention grabber. This color is said to be concentration enhancer color.

Purple: Purple is feminine color which is related to royalty,luxury,wealth and sophistication.
Brown: Brown is the color of nature and it directly relates to solid and reliability. It is mostly found to be more popular with men.

This is such a basic thing but still i feel i need to share this. We all are using greeting cards from long and we all know about the basic elements like folds , fronts and message, back etc. As all this is just the basic structure of greeting cards.

Fold: This is always there, you can say no card is complete without a fold. A fold makes a card greeting card.

All these greeting cards will be recycled and used for creating unique greeting cards and gift tags for next season. Even this season more than 2,800 cards and 1.750 tags were sold through this association.

All the cards and tags can be dropped at The Arc of Carroll County, 180 Krider’s Church Road, Westminster.

The basic christmas traditions: lights, family and colors

Great Christmas celebrations around the corner the most awaited festival, marked by lights, family and traditions. hopefully we all are ready with our traditional Christmas tree with illuminated with lights and colors. Its my favorite time, in spite of snow fakes and cold. The additional thing is the goodwill flowing through gifts within friends and family members. Most of the time spent in decoration and searching for good gifts. But internet has effected our way of living a lot, this is what i have observed. Earlier people used to pour into shops searching for gifts. but nowadays crowds have reduced and people are doing most of their purchases online. But thank god, the long lived tradition of sending Christmas greeting cards has not changed. Though the way of sending has changed, most of us creating own customized greeting cards. Even i am creating unique cards for friends using greeting card software.
